Gamesa, the global technology leader in the wind industry, embraces this partnership with Mike Golding as it moves forward with its ambitious plans in the UK offshore market: launching two offshore platforms and investing over 150 million euro in research and manufacturing.

With more than 15 years’ experience, Gamesa is a world leader in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of wind turbines, with around 23,000 MW installed in 30 countries and over 15,000 MW under maintenance.

This is the first time Gamesa has been involved in sport sponsorship. Speaking at the launch in Windsor, London, UK on 28 June, Jorge Calvet, the Chairman and Chief Executive of Gamesa commented, ‘This sponsorship comes at an important time for Gamesa and our planned programme of expansion into the UK.
