The last few days has seen us power reaching across the Atlantic underneath a large depression that cam off the US last Thursday. it has been fast, bumpy and very we infact there is nowhere on the boat that is dry except for our sleeping bags which are vaguly damp.I am not painting ssuch a pretty picture however it has been exciting and spirts are still high onboard eventhough everybody is a bit tired. Ther is currently a fairly comple weather pattern in the Atlantic with a High pressure near Iceland keeping all the storm cells South and by South I mean just about on top of us! Tonight we have a relatively calm night with 15 - 25 kts and a moderate sea but over the next few days we have another big low developing over the Azores which looks like it could give us Squalls up to 50 kts and big seas so we will skirt underneath that and work our way up the eastern side during the middle to end of the week and hopefully arrive in Cascais sometime on the 20th Dec. However you can never e too cautious so we are also looking at Madera as a bolt hole should things get too nasty.
On a lighter note Tim still smells, Dom is still cleaning and Nick is now getting phased about something, he is buy a house and they say that this can bne a stressful time but try doing it while you are dodging gales in the Ocean. I can safely say though that we are all starting to look forward to getting in and going home for Christmas.

Bye for now

Harry and the boys
